Oklahoma native (now a Texan) Melissa shares a bit about her experience as an artist:  "As a 3rd generation painter, I started my art journey at age 9 sitting with my grandmother at her kitchen table painting daisies. I'll always remember her writing the words "love spoken here" on the painting. My mother was also a talented painter (ceramic and porcelain). Alongside her, I taught professional classes and continued to develop my skillset. These experiences certainly touched my heart, and 43 years later, my "love" for painting continues to speak, and is simply part of who I am. I truly hope you'll treasure one of my paintings in your home!"
