Jacobean Blue Tablecloth
We've brought this one back from the archives for Autumn 2025!
The Jacobean style, born during the reign of King James I of England (1603–1625), carries a storied tradition shaped by imported Indian chintz, Ottoman embroideries, and Renaissance artistry.
Its fantastical florals, imagined more than imitated, first bloomed in earthy indigo blues, madder reds, and golden yellows. As global trade flourished, the palette deepened with greens, russets, and muted neutrals, weaving history into every sweeping vine and blossom.
